Welcome to BibleCounts:

Spreading the WordSpread God’s love throughout the land.

Spread God’s love throughout the land. Praise His name so that the whole world hears!

Our goal at BibleCounts is to show you how we can learn from God’s word daily. We want to help school aged students (you) find joy in reading the Bible daily. So we have created a site that breaks up the books of the Bible into chapters and enables you to win points by answering questions about those chapters. This is similar to the online reading comprehension tests found at many schools today, so it may be familiar to you.

What is the “Good News”?

The “Good News” is that God loves us so much that he sent his son to earth to die for us to pay for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God and he lived here on earth. God sent him to love us and teach us how to live. He spent a lot of time teaching people how to love one another. He showed them the rules of right and wrong, and we can read about it in the Bible. Then God paid the ultimate price. He died on the cross for our sins. He died for your sins even before you were born!

Jesus said the only way to God is through Him.

If you believe that Jesus was the Son of God, and he died for your sins, you will be saved. All you have to do is tell Jesus that you believe that and ask that He lives in your heart.

He says that if you do that, you will have eternal life. That means that you will go to heaven and live with God. That’s not good news…it’s GREAT news!
